Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Test Engineer to support development, validation and certification of hydrogen-electric propulsion technologies within the aerospace sector. You will plan, execute tests for fuel cell and propulsion components, design test rigs and data acquisition, and produce clear documentation to support safety and certifiability.

Qualifications

Experience in test engineering and documentation of test procedures.
Ability to analyse engineering data and communicate results clearly.
Familiarity with P&IDs, BOMs and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and execute development, verification, validation and certification testing for fuel cell, hydrogen and propulsion components.
Design, specify and commission test rigs, instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
Own component and subsystem test programmes, ensuring objectives, schedules and quality requirements are met.
Collaborate with system, design and integration engineers, suppliers and partners to define testing requirements.
Analyse test data, prepare test procedures, reports and recommendations.
Support air vehicle integration activities and contribute to complex engineering challenges.
Develop safe, repeatable test processes within a fast-paced aerospace environment.
