Job summary

Eaton Wimborne is seeking an experienced Technical Publications Specialist to join our aerospace team. You will generate, edit and maintain manuals and data modules for air-to-air refuelling systems, ensuring compliance with MSD guidelines and customer contracts.

You will collaborate with SMEs and the ILS group to deliver high-quality documentation. The role requires a strong command of Simplified Technical English, iSpec2200 and S1000D, plus solid English communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• GCSE minimum; A-levels preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of aerospace technical authoring or ILS experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate, maintain and update accurate documentation for Air-to-Air Refuelling systems.
• Work as part of a Technical Publications/ILS team.
• Produce and maintain manuals, data modules and service notices.
• Ensure documentation meets quality, timeframes and standards.
• Verify content with subject matter experts and external partners.
• Interface with SMEs to keep documents current.
