Job summary

Moog Inc. in Wolverhampton, UK, is seeking a Systems & Performance Engineer (Fixed Term) to translate customer requirements into verifiable specifications and to drive validation across flight control products.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, develop and maintain verification plans, and apply modelling and simulation to assess actuation system performance. A degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree inMechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for performance analysis.
• Experience with computer-based modelling and simulation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and manage customer technical requirements for flight control products.
• Generate and maintain documentation to flow requirements to suppliers.
• Determine compliance to specifications via analysis, assessments and testing.
• Define and develop validation and verification documentation and test procedures.
• Perform engineering analysis to size and characterize hydraulic and electric flight control products.
• Apply modelling and simulation to evaluate actuation system performance.
• Prepare content for RFIs and RFPs for new applications.
• Lead investigations involving Moog products with manufacturing, customer and supplier involvement.
• Act as technical SME representing Moog during investigations and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the aerospace lifecycle.
