Job summary
Moog Wolverhampton are recruiting for an Electronics Design Engineer - Test Systems to develop electronic and electrical solutions from concept to detailed design for Moog Aircraft Group Test Equipment. You will work onsite in Wolverhampton, supporting qualification and production acceptance testing across multiple systems.
You will liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective engineering outcomes, contributing to design reviews and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree, preferably a Masters, in a relevant Electronic/ Electrical subject area as a minimum.
- Demonstrable commercial experience of complex analogue and digital electronics design.
- Experience in design and manufacture of industrial machines.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in development for multi-axis, closed loop, servo-hydraulic/test systems.
- Knowledge of Safety Related Equipment, PLCs and Motor Drive systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and basic programming in C++/VB.
Responsibilities
- Design analogue and digital electronic solutions for Test Equipment Systems.
- Apply safety standards in design and integration of electronics.
- Contribute to architecture, requirements, design, verification, and release for Test Systems.
- Assist with detailed Test Equipment Proposals and technical reviews.
- Support Root Cause investigations and maintain training within the team.
- Ensure health and safety practices and draft risk assessments.
