Job summary

Moog Wolverhampton is seeking a Development Engineer to support the testing and certification of actuation products. The role involves hands-on build and test activities, risk reduction, and providing verification evidence required for certification, including data acquisition and test reports.

The successful candidate will have an HNC in Mechanical Engineering, experience in actuation/test environments, and familiarity with LabVIEW/DasyLAB/FlexLogger. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a test environment, particularly certification testing.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and components.
• Familiarity with data acquisition software is advantageous.
• Previous aerospace experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform early product builds and develop test processes for new products.
• Conduct risk reduction or design development tests and perform qualification testing.
• Generate test records and reports; investigate failures using FRACAS.
• Set up tests with instrumentation and data acquisition; contribute to improvements.
