Job summary

GE Aerospace offers a 12-month Systems Engineering Placement at the Dowty sites in Gloucestershire (Cheltenham/Gloucester). You will gain experience across requirements capture, system design and verification, with exposure to network and IT support activities.

You will be mentored by a People Leader and connected with other placement students across the UK, with a clear route into GE’s Edison Engineering Development Programme and potential graduate opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or integrated Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
• On track to achieve a 2:1 degree or above.
• Penultimate year of study and returning to education after placement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• In the 12-month Systems Engineering Placement, you'll gain skills in requirements capturing, system design and verification.
• You could help with gaining and maintaining network connectivity and providing IT support to customers or process improvement using IT systems internally.
