Job summary

GE Aerospace offers a 12-month Software Engineering placement across Bristol and Cheltenham, with opportunities in On Wing Technology, Software Engineering, Software Tools, Test Systems, and Engineering Operations Power portfolio. You’ll gain hands-on experience across the development lifecycle, work with languages like Java, C, C++, C#, Python, and explore AI tools to improve outcomes.

You’ll be supported by mentors and a People Leader, and the role feeds into the Edison Engineering Development

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Computer Science/Web Development/AI/Data Science degree or related.
• Penultimate year of study and returning to education.
• On course to achieve a 2:1 degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Work across Development Life Cycle with teams.
• Develop programming skills in Java, C, C++, C#, Python, Raspberry Pi and Arduino.
• Engage with internal and external customers and vendors.
