Job summary

NMB-Minebea UK is seeking a procurement/operations professional for a permanent role in a primarily aerospace manufacturing environment. You will manage sub-contractors, drive performance and coordinate internal and external teams to meet critical KPIs.

Reporting to the Operations Manager (Supply Chain & Procurement), the role focuses on improving processes, expediting supplier information and ensuring timely deliveries to meet business targets and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Role operates in a mainly aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Focus on supplier performance and subcontractor management.
• Strong coordination with internal teams and external account stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow for sub-contract operations and expedite activities with approved vendors.
• Monitor and drive KPIs for quality, cost and delivery of purchased products.
• Develop strategic, tactical and transactional relationships across the supply chain.
• Liaise with subcontractors to ensure timely information and deliveries.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department and with suppliers.
