Job summary

Evolito Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer to drive supplier industrialisation, ensure manufacturing readiness, and support product development from design for manufacture through ramp-up.

The role involves regular global travel to supplier sites, close collaboration with Design and Manufacturing teams, and implementing MRPs, AS13100/PPAP processes to enable scalable production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering and supplier industrialisation in aerospace/defence or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of DFM / DFA and supply chain design principles.
• Experience with PFMEAs, control plans and PPAP requirements.
• Familiarity with MRLS, production validation and industrialisation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier industrialisation activities for new and existing products to achieve manufacturing readiness.
• Assess supplier capability, capacity, tooling, labour planning and process maturity.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure DFM, DFA and Design for Supply Chain principles.
• Support MRLs and industrialisation plans across key suppliers.
• Review manufacturing methods, tooling concepts and production strategies for alignment with requirements.
• Introduce and qualify new production tooling and technologies in the supply chain.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to support programme delivery.
• Provide input to capacity planning, ramp-up strategies and business continuity.
