Job summary

Boeing Commercial Aviation Services Europe Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Structural Engineer to support certification of large aircraft modifications. The role involves leading certification activities, substantiation work, and customer liaison under the DOH guidelines.

You will work with global teams to address requirements for seating, cabin, and primary structure changes, including galleys, lavatories, and LOPAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials).
• Proven experience in structural substantiation and certification processes.
• Experience with aerospace interior and/or primary structure modification practices.
• Proficient in hand calculations and finite element analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead certification activities to ensure design compliance for large aircraft modifications.
• Compile and review structural substantiation documents for product certification and integration.
• Represent Boeing in customer meetings (ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI).
• Provide on-site support during embodiment phase and promote safety and quality culture.
