Rolls-Royce is seeking a Stress Engineer to assess the mechanical behaviour of turbine engine and powerplant assemblies using Ansys or Abaqus across static and dynamic loading, including flight loads, deflections and vibration. You will support the Design function by analyzing proposed designs to ensure robustness and conformance with requirements.

Formación

• Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience as a Stress Engineer in an aerospace environment.
• Experience with Ansys or Abaqus; MATLAB, VBA or Python are a plus.
• BPSS eligibility to start.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct Stress Analysis with developed numerical models and boundary conditions.
• Conduct mechanical experiments, supervise tests, and interpret results.
• Resolve problems using engineering judgement and cross-disciplinary data.
• Deliver technical packages on schedule within cost and quality targets.
• Act as advisor/coach and share knowledge across the function.
