Job summary

Parker Meggitt, a global aerospace, defence and energy leader, seeks a Shipping and Logistics Controller for our site at Ansty Park, Coventry. This 37.5-hour-per-week, permanent role focuses on coordinating global shipments, ensuring compliant documentation and on-time deliveries.

You will collaborate with internal teams, warehouse staff and freight forwarders to maintain high operational standards, manage daily logistics tasks, and support continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication, organisation and workload prioritisation.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfortable with manual handling, PPE and working indoors/outdoors year-round.

Responsibilities

• Generate import/export documentation and shipping instructions.
• Maintain accurate records in company systems.
• Liaise with internal teams, warehouse staff and freight forwarders to support deliveries.
• Manage and prioritise daily logistics activities and the group mailbox.
• Support transport, shipping and authorisation processes for on-time delivery.
• Assist colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
