Job summary

Parker Meggitt is seeking a Shipping and Logistics Controller at Ansty Park, Coventry. You will support the movement of products across the global supply chain, ensuring shipping documentation is accurate, compliant and processed on time.

Working with internal teams, warehouse staff and freight forwarders, you will manage daily logistics activities, prioritise tasks and contribute to continuous improvement while upholding high standards of operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organisation and workload prioritisation skills.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
• Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment, including manual handling activities.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate import and export documentation, shipping instructions and clearance paperwork
• Maintain compliant and accurate records within company systems and processes
• Liaise with internal teams, warehouse personnel and freight forwarders to support deliveries
• Manage and prioritise daily logistics activities, including the group mailbox
• Support transport, shipping and authorisation processes to ensure on-time delivery
• Assist colleagues across the team and contribute to continuous improvement activities
