Job summary

DCS Recruitment has a permanent Sheet Metal Worker – Aerospace position in Manchester (East). You will manufacture and assemble precision sheet metal components for aerospace and defence clients, reading complex drawings and working to strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or high-precision metalworking.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and 5S principles.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble sheet metal components to tight aerospace tolerances.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Follow in-house routing cards, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Use calibrated equipment in line with process requirements.
• Perform sheet metal processes: rubber pressing, hand forming, profiling, countersinking, wheeling, rolling.
• Maintain high workmanship and attention to detail.
