Job summary

DCS Recruitment is recruiting two skilled Airframe / Aerospace Fitters to join an established aerospace manufacturer at its Manchester facility. You’ll assemble metallic aerospace structures, following engineering drawings and SOPs with a strong emphasis on quality and accuracy.

Ideal candidates have precision fitting experience or aerospace/precision engineering backgrounds, with the ability to read drawings, use hand tools, drill, rivet and install bearings and helicoils.

Qualifications

• Experience in precision fitting or structural assembly.
• Aerospace background or transferable precision engineering experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with hand tools and accurate drilling, fastening and component installation.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metallic aerospace structures from drawings and procedures.
• Drill, countersink, riveting and sealant application.
• Install helicoils, bearings and bushes.
• Use calibrated tools to meet tolerances.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safe working.
