Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Derby is seeking a Service Business Officer for a 12-month secondment. The role is hybrid (3 days on site) and reports to the Civil Aerospace Service Business Team. You will deliver financial forecasts for aftermarket contracts and support Commercial and Customer teams with analysis.

You will develop Shop Visit Plans, forecast TotalCare, Flex, and other service offers, and drive process improvements. Strong Excel and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in forecasting and financial analysis for contract-based business.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with MS Office.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and teams.
• Knowledge of Profit & Loss statements and business metrics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate financial forecasts of aftermarket contracts through Contract Review Packs.
• Produce aeroengine Shop Visit Plans based on current and predicted service performance.
• Provide analytical support across functions, including commercial evaluations and scenario modelling.
• Forecast TotalCare, Flex, SelectCare, and Fixed Price Overhaul returns with cross-functional coordination.
• Lead process improvements in forecasting and performance reviews.
