Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking Skilled Inspectors for a 12-month contract based in Bristol. You will perform visual inspections of aerospace components, interpret CMM reports, and use precision measuring tools to ensure conformity and quality across production stages.

You will maintain inspection records, uphold safety standards, and collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to drive continuous improvement in a high-specification environment.

Qualifications

• Modern Apprenticeship, Time-Served Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is essential.
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably aerospace or precision engineering.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of aerospace components throughout the manufacturing process.
• Read and interpret CMM reports to verify component conformity.
• Use precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.
• Review and complete inspection documentation and quality records.
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety and process requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issues and support improvements.
