Short Brothers, a Boeing Company in Belfast is seeking a Graduate in Quality Engineering to help ensure aerospace products meet the highest standards of safety, reliability and performance. You will work with engineers, production teams, suppliers and regulators across the manufacturing journey.

You will gain hands-on experience across quality assurance, product development, supplier quality and continuous improvement, building skills highly valued in global aviation.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronic or Chemical Engineering (2:2) accredited that enables CEng status.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
• Strong communication, enthusiasm for aerospace and genuine interest in engineering.

Responsabilités

• Quality Assurance & Compliance – ensure products meet customer, engineering and regulatory requirements.
• New Product Development – support major development programmes with quality planning tools.
• Supplier Quality – collaborate with suppliers to improve performance and quality.
• Continuous Improvement – identify efficiency and quality improvements in processes.
• Specialist Quality Technologies – exposure to digital metrology, CMM programming, NDT, calibration.
• Regulatory Engagement – work with regulators to ensure ongoing compliance.
