Hyde Group in Dukinfield (Cheshire) is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our aerospace-focused manufacturing team. You will investigate non-conformances, analyse quality data, drive continuous improvement, and support calibration activities.

You will read drawings, apply aerospace standards, conduct internal and external audits, and report to the Quality Manager. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment as QE.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications to determine conformance.
• Timed served inspector would be ideal.
• Aerospace/defence standards of work and QMS/IMS knowledge.
• Experience with inspection methods (hand tools, Keyence, CMM).

Responsabilidades

• Investigate and respond to non-conformances and analyse quality data.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain standard work sheets.
• Assist Quality Manager with calibration equipment and checks.
• Carry out internal and external audits, reporting to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Hyde teams, clients and suppliers in the aerospace supply chain.
