Job summary

SII UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of multiple customer projects within the Aerospace & Defence sector. This customer-facing role will ensure effective governance, monitor delivery performance, manage stakeholder engagement and drive successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will combine PM expertise with excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders across complex engineering and technology

Qualifications

• Proven PM experience delivering customer-facing projects.
• Experience in Aerospace & Defence environments.
• Capability to manage customer relationships and stakeholder expectations.
• Risk, issues, actions and dependencies management.
• Strong governance and delivery assurance background.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and monitor performance against objectives.
• Familiarity with PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective project governance frameworks.
• Track project progress, performance milestones and deliverables.
• Lead project kick-off meetings and facilitate regular customer reviews.
• Manage project reporting and communicate status updates to key stakeholders.
• Identify, manage, and resolve delivery issues to minimise project impact.
• Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery and customer value.
• Coordinate activities across customer and internal delivery teams.
• Ensure project documentation, plans and reporting remain accurate and up to date.
• Support stakeholder management and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
