Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Project Officer to be based at our aerospace client site in Yeovil. The role, for an initial 12-month contract, supports the Programme/Project Manager with responsibility for coordinating tasks, managing risks, and delivering project outputs.

You will work under the PMO, ensuring activities align with policies and processes, and contribute to delivering programme objectives through effective stakeholder engagement and administrative support.

Qualifications

• Carrying out the work in the programme or project plan under supervision of the Programme/Project Manager.
• Demonstrating professional, technical or specialist skills to support project delivery.
• Co-ordinating project tasks and inter-dependencies and mitigating risks.
• Maintaining effective communication with the wider project team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project tasks and interdependencies to deliver the programme objectives.
• Manage the risk register and advise the PM on risks that could affect delivery.
• Provide administrative support to the programme or project manager and PMO guidance.
• Interface between the project and IPTs to achieve overall deliverables.
• Manage customer and vendor engagement in line with accountability.
