Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Production Planner to manage the production plan for the assigned value stream, ensuring timely availability of parts and sub-assemblies to meet customer demand while aligning with capacity and inventory strategies.

You will work across Manufacturing, Procurement and Customer Service to drive high service levels, participate in S&OP, and ensure regulatory compliance in aftermarket planning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3–5 years of production planning, materials planning, or aftermarket support.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle/IFS) and regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plan schedules aligned with demand, inventory, delivery targets and capacity.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Procurement to ensure timely delivery of finished parts.
• Own S&OE to ensure timely aftermarket works orders.
• Participate in S&OP planning reviews to align demand, supply and constraints.
• Collaborate with support teams to understand contract requirements and SLAs.
• Monitor inventory and optimize stock to avoid shortages or excess.
• Generate work orders, requisitions, and shipping schedules.
• Track progress, resolve delays and communicate with stakeholders.
