Job summary

Parker Meggitt is seeking a Precision Assembly Operator in Fareham to perform precision pick and join operations on aerospace components. You’ll work under a microscope with small, delicate parts, ensuring quality and traceability throughout assembly and inspection processes.

The role requires excellent manual dexterity and the ability to follow engineering drawings and controlled processes. A strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean, safe workspace are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling precision components under a microscope.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to quality workmanship.
• Experience with brazing, welding or inspection equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out precision pick and join to drawings and quality requirements.
• Work under microscopes to prepare, assemble and inspect small components.
• Prepare components for joining, brazing, welding, and further assembly.
• Complete production paperwork and traceability records accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report issues promptly.
