Job summary

Evolito Ltd is seeking a Power Electronics Test Engineer to validate high-voltage three-phase inverters for electric propulsion systems. You will develop test systems, execute dynamic switching, loss and thermal tests, and support motor integration.

The role calls for hands-on lab work, sensor calibration, and generating procedures for certification. You will also lead root-cause investigations, contribute to test equipment progression, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-growing aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent industrial experience.
• Proven electronics design experience, preferably in aerospace/defence/automotive.
• Strong knowledge of wide-bandgap devices (SiC MOSFETs), gate drive design and three-phase inverter fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop test systems and perform dynamic switching, loss, and thermal characterisation of SiC MOSFETs and three-phase inverters.
• Conduct component and equipment tests for filters and DC link capacitors.
• Support test and integration of inverters with motors and automate sensor calibration.
• Produce test methods, procedures, and reports to support certification activities.
• Lead root-cause investigations and coordinate cross-functional teams.
