Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space, Stevenage, places you in the Project Management Team to help deliver spacecraft Antenna products and systems. You work with experienced project managers to support end-to-end management of high-value projects, ensuring they are on-time, on-cost, and on-quality.

You will gain hands-on experience in aerospace project management, with focus on risk management and supply chain coordination, while learning how to communicate with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only; must remain an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement
• Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering, Physics or Business or equivalent
• Experience with engineering projects in university or work setting

Responsibilities

• Support the project management team in day-to-day coordination, including tracking scope, schedule, budget, and risks
• Contribute to the preparation of customer-facing reviews and essential project communications
• Develop understanding of project management, risk management, and supply chain coordination within an aerospace context
• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams to drive project progress
• Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft Office to prepare presentations, reports, and documentation
