Job summary

Safran is seeking a Performance and Dynamics Engineer to join the Systems Engineering team in Gloucestershire. You will perform performance and dynamics analysis for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems related to aircraft landing gear, extension/retraction and steering.

You will derive requirements and validate them using models and standard tools, contributing to product development and ensuring the integrated system meets program requirements.

Qualifications

Experience in multi-body dynamic modelling and simulation.
Knowledge of nose-wheel steering analysis and vibration analysis.
Experience with DOORS requirements management and engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

Perform performance and dynamics analysis for mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems of aircraft landing gear and steering.
Develop models and run simulations to verify system performance against requirements.
Guide product development to ensure system dynamics meet program requirements.
