Job summary

Triumph Group is seeking skilled machinists to join a manufacturing cell focused on producing aircraft landing gear components to exact aerospace tolerances. You will set up and operate CNC milling/turning and EDM machines, ensuring accuracy and quality while performing self-checks and process steps.

Candidates should have experience with Machining centers, CNC lathes, Wire/Die Sink EDM, and be comfortable working with Mazak, Fanuc, Okuma, and Mori Seiki controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating machining centres.
• Experience with CNC lathes.
• Experience with EDM machines (Wire and Die Sinkers).
• Familiar with Mazak, Fanuc, Okuma and Mori Seiki controls.
• Use of CMM and manual measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Work in a manufacturing cell to produce aircraft landing gear components to aerospace tolerances.
• Set up and operate CNC milling/turning and EDM machines.
• Check and verify own work and perform part marking, broaching, lapping and cleaning.
• Maintain machines with first line maintenance and calibration.
