Job summary

Slingsby Advanced Composites is seeking a skilled NDT Level 2 Inspector to join our on-site team in Kirkbymoorside. You will perform non-destructive testing on composite aerospace and defense components, ensuring product integrity and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

You will plan inspections, interpret results, document findings, and raise non-conformances. Collaboration with production, engineering and quality teams will support root-cause analysis, continuous improvement

Qualifications

• NDT Level 2 certification (EN ISO 9712, NAS 410 or equivalent) required.
• Proficiency in Eddy Current and Ultrasonics testing for composites.
• Experience in aerospace/defense QC in high-reliability environments preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct non-destructive inspections of composite aerospace/defense components.
• Interpret and evaluate test results; document findings clearly.
• Raise non-conformances and support root-cause analysis.
• Maintain NDT equipment and participate in audits and certifications.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams for continuous improvement.
