Job summary

Leonardo Helicopters is seeking a motivated Mechanical aviation engineer to join the Training Academy in Yeovil. You will deliver high-quality mechanical training to Leonardo and customer personnel, developing materials and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

You will assess learner competence, collaborate with engineering teams, and contribute to continuous improvement of training quality and learner experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft mechanical maintenance and rotary-wing knowledge.
• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills supporting training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical mechanical training to Leonardo and customer personnel.
• Develop, review, and maintain training materials aligned with aircraft documentation and regulations.
• Assess learner competence with practical and theoretical assessments and provide feedback.
