Job summary

Cambridge Aerospace is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to turn engineering into reality by producing CAD designs, drawings and analyses, taking concepts into production and into the skies.

You will build CAD models, interface with suppliers and manufacturing, and ensure designs meet all requirements for robust, manufacturable systems in a fast-paced environment focused on defence technology.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in complex mechanical design.
• BEng/MEng in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Experience with CAD design and GD&T practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CAD models and assemblies for complex systems.
• Create drawings with GD&T at all levels from prototypes to mass-made components.
• Interface with suppliers and manufacturing to expedite timelines.
• Collaborate with multiple functions to ensure designs meet requirements.
