Job summary

CBSbutler, located in Larkhill, England, is seeking a Materials Production Planner to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the availability of components and materials for rocket propulsion programmes. You'll manage the MRP system, procure necessary materials, and collaborate with various teams to maintain production schedules.

Ideal candidates will have experience in materials planning, knowledge of MRP/ERP systems like SAP, and solid communication skills. The position offers a salary range of £32,000 to £40,000, plus bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experienced in materials and/or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Confident managing complex BOMs, long lead times, and multi‑stage processes.
• Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable juggling competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain the MRP system to ensure materials and parts are available to meet production schedules.
• Plan and procure raw materials, components, and consumables in line with build plans and lead times.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, track supplier performance, and resolve any shortages or delays.
