Eaton Wimborne in Dorset is seeking a Materials Planner to coordinate demand and supply across operations. You will liaise with Customer Services, Commercial and procurement to ensure accurate lead times and on-time delivery for aerospace components.

You will actively manage schedules, track demand, support reporting, and work with manufacturing engineers to clarify Bills of Materials, while pushing improvements to delivery performance and cost control.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as a materials planner within a technology company (ideally mechanical/electrical/aerospace)

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with Customer Services Representatives, Commercial and others to ensure orders have the appropriate lead times.
• Identify and resolve problems in fulfilling demand to schedule and cost.
• Proactively manage schedule dates to meet customer request dates.
• Create and manage information to track demand through Operations.
• Provide input for weekly and monthly reports.
• Support improvement strategies to enhance delivery performance, inventory, and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with Procurement and other warehouses to meet committed due dates.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineers to clarify the Bill of Materials.
• Compile strip and survey reports as requested by customers.
• Lead drumbeat reviews to progress demand through the business.
• Ensure completion and action on performance development reviews.
• Generate and maintain KPIs and performance boards.
• Release and control work orders, manage parts, start dates and exceptions.
