Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks a Materials Engineer to deliver on non-conformance activities related to manufacturing, testing, and in-service materials support for Defence & Aerospace projects.

You will support a multidisciplinary team to solve complex problems, manage small to medium tasks and perform materials assessments for component non-conformance. A security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Materials Engineering or similar (minimum).
• Chartered status or working towards chartership.
• Experience in materials in Aerospace/Defence is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on non-conformance activities for manufacturing, testing, and in-service materials.
• Support multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex problems in Defence & Aerospace projects.
• Manage small to medium tasks and conduct materials assessments for component non-conformance.
• Possible requirement for security clearance.
