Job summary

A leading engineering services firm in the UK is seeking a Materials Engineer with expertise in aerospace engineering. Your Role

Capgemini Engineering are looking to recruit Materials Engineers with knowledge of non‑conformance within aerospace engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and expert advice across Defence Aerospace programmes with a particular focus on design and supply chain production support
  • Support design of test programmes and analysis of test programme data
  • Investigate engineering development, production manufacturing and in‑service issues using a structured analytical approach and presenting findings clearly and authoritatively
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
Your Profile
  • A qualification in Materials Science or Engineering or significant relevant experience. We welcome applications from people with metallics and non‑metallics backgrounds.
  • Good analytical skills
  • Knowledge of the gas turbine and its components is desirable
  • Methodical and logical approach to tasks, comfortable with working to deadlines
