Job summary

W Talent Manufacturing, based in Nottinghamshire, seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead daily operations, ensuring output, quality and on-time delivery to aerospace standards. You will drive continuous improvement, develop production plans and manage cross-functional teams across planning, engineering, quality and supply chain.

You will champion safety culture, coach staff, and implement lean initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance and high performance in a high-mix, low-volume

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Production/Manufacturing or Operations leadership role in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and people management with the ability to drive performance.
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all production activities and report to Site Director.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, regulatory requirements and HSE regs.
• Lead production teams to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets.
• Drive safety, quality, accountability and continuous improvement across operations.
• Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer demand and business goals.
• Coordinate with planning, engineering, quality and supply chain for smooth operations.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions to improve performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and throughput.
• Support New Product Introduction and smooth integration into production.
• Lead, coach and develop team members; address skills gaps with training.
