Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a technical team focused on creating, maintaining, and optimizing production processes. You will ensure high-quality output, cost efficiency, and safety compliance while collaborating with safety, quality, production, finance, supply chain, R&D, and repair teams.

You will drive lean manufacturing, automation, and capital equipment strategies across sites, with a strong emphasis on Design for Manufacturability and robust

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering. 10–15 years in manufacturing/industrial engineering or process engineering with 5+ years leading teams.
• Demonstrated ability to operate under aerospace-style requirements (AS9100-level rigor): documentation discipline and customer audit readiness.
• Leadership skills with experience coaching, mentoring, or leading engineers.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems and drive design decisions.
• Experience leading programs and projects with cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspiring leadership to the Manufacturing Engineering team with a clear vision and performance expectations aligned with plant objectives.
• Develop talent through regular feedback, mentoring and development plans to build capability and engagement.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and safety with necessary resources.
• Partner with R&D for Design for Manufacturability and scalable production input.
• Industrialize new products by applying established methods and best practices; define cost throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing systems, routings, SOPs and equipment specs; train production teams on quality.
• Lead lean manufacturing and automation initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Own capital equipment strategy across multiple sites with governance and site-level execution.
