Job summary

Bentley Street Consulting is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join an aerospace business. The role focuses on developing, documenting and optimising designs for low-volume, high-spec manufacture, in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with the Design Engineering team to achieve right-first-time outcomes, applying additive and subtractive manufacturing methods and handling metals, plastics and composites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience with metal, plastics and composites; 3D printing preferred.
• Fast-thinking, can-do attitude to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document and optimise designs for third-party manufacture.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to enable right-first-time outcomes.
• Apply additive and subtractive manufacturing methods.
