Job summary
Prestwick Aerosystems is seeking skilled tradespeople to join our Ayrshire site, manufacturing wing structures for Airbus. You may be welder, fabricator, mechanic, gas fitter, pipefitter or similar, working in a demanding aerospace environment to high quality standards.
You will join an experienced team, perform precision assembly, seal, coat and finish components, and operate tools safely. Applicants must have an apprenticeship and trade papers, with SVQ 3 or City & Guilds, and be eligible to
Qualifications
- Apprenticeship in a mechanical trades discipline.
- Trade papers or equivalent qualification certificates.
- Experience reading technical drawings and manufacturing docs.
- Evidence of apprenticeship completion and trade qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble aircraft wing structure components.
- Carry out sealing, coating and finishing to aerospace standards.
- Safely operate tools and production systems while maintaining quality.
- Maintain high standards of safety and compliance in a regulated environment.
