Job summary

Airbus Broughton is seeking skilled Aircraft Fitters to assemble wings and install components for the A320, A330, and A350XWB families. The role is based at the Broughton site, within the Wing Build Production section, partnering with Guidant as the employment partner.

Candidates should have completed an Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship and experience in related roles such as sheet metal work, welding or mechanical fitting. Opportunity to contribute to a renowned aeronautics legacy.

Qualifications

• Completed Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship is required.
• Experience in similar roles such as Sheet Metal Workers, Metal Fabricators, Welders, or Mechanical Fitters is desirable.
• Other accepted qualifications include Indenture and City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC or Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2 or 3, Key Skills Level 2, and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognised engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Engage in assembly, general fittings, and component installations.
• Conduct repairs on metallic and composite materials.
• Occasionally work in confined spaces or at heights.
