Job summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking a manufacturing technician to perform assembly, forming, finishing, inspection, and machine maintenance under supervision. The role includes operating CNC equipment and hydraulic/electrical systems per customer specifications.

This position is safety-sensitive and requires adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. A high school diploma and forklift certification are required, along with US citizenship or Green Card for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blue prints, schematics and diagrams.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, to understand safety procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and evaluates material removal methods to meet customer specs.
• Operates handheld air-powered tools (grinders, sanders, deburring).
• Follows SOPs to achieve quality results in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of surface finishing processes and working with Titanium parts is a plus.
• Completes and stamps process-related documentation.
• Maintains records and orders spare parts as required.
