Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Verwood is seeking an Engineering Estimator to join a busy aerospace subcontract environment. The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience and the ability to interpret detailed drawings, with a focus on delivering timely quotations.

The position offers stable hours Mon–Thu 7:30am–4:30pm, Fri 7:30am to 12:30pm, and a salary up to £60k DOE. You will work with customers and suppliers to balance best prices for business and client.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained time served engineer with hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience in AS9100 or similar quality environment.
• Must be able to interpret detailed engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret detailed engineering drawings accurately.
• Prepare timely quotations for customers.
• Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.
• Understand production methods and machine tool capabilities.
• Collaborate with the team to set competitive prices.
• Apply CNC machining knowledge in estimations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in estimation processes.
• Work with turning and milling on varied parts.
