Job summary

GKN Aerospace in East Cowes offers a four‑year Apprenticeship Programme in cutting‑edge manufacturing and engineering. No experience required; you’ll learn by doing, get paid while you train, and grow your skills with expert support.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths, English and Science with 4+ grades.
• Engineering-related A Levels or T Level or Level 3 qualification.
• Alternative Level 2 qualifications considered.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a hands‑on environment.

Responsibilities

• Year 1 focuses on core skills, learning, and confidence building to prepare for years 2–3.
• Years 2–3: rotate through engineering areas, gaining technical experience and knowledge.
• Year 4: final placement, End Point Assessment, and apprenticeship qualification.
• Attend college/training regularly and apply learning in the workplace with support.
