Job summary

Ontic invites applicants to join its 2027 Apprenticeship Programme across Electronic and Mechanical Engineering paths in Gloucestershire. You'll train at GET in the first year and then work on Ontic sites at Bishops Cleeve, Staverton and Tewkesbury, developing practical aerospace skills and pursuing a recognised engineering qualification.

Pathways include Level 3 and Level 4/5, with mentorship, workshops and ongoing professional development throughout the three-year programme.

Qualifications

• Interest in engineering and aerospace; hands-on learning expected.
• Willingness to learn, follow safety rules and develop practical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Observe, learn and apply a range of engineering skills and processes.
• Gain practical experience in electronic or mechanical aerospace components.
• Support manufacturing, inspection, testing, maintenance or repair activities.
• Use precision tools and measurements; follow drawings and specifications.
• Complete training towards Level 3 or Level 4/5 Engineering qualification.
