Job summary

Airbus Broughton is offering a Craft Aerosystems Apprentice program in Broughton, North Wales for 36 months starting September 2027. The role combines hands-on manufacturing work with academic study, aimed at developing skilled aircraft fitters for electrics, hydraulics and fuel systems.

You will rotate through wing production areas, gaining experience on live projects while completing Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma and related certificates.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs including Maths (Grade C/4) required.
• GCSEs must be the standard GCSE certificates (no equivalency accepted).

Responsibilities

• Install aircraft systems and components on live aircraft projects.
• Perform functional tests and inspections to verify system integrity.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.
