Job summary

Unify is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver robust embedded software across multiple platforms for aerospace and defence applications.

You will contribute to architecture definition, interfaces and integration, with emphasis on high-performance, deterministic software and rigorous testing. A UK SC clearance may be required for this role and collaboration across engineering teams will be essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded software for safety-critical or highly regulated systems.
• Strong C/C++ and/or Rust development skills.
• Ability to design architectures and interfaces and contribute to verification and release.

Responsibilities

• Define embedded software architectures with the engineering team.
• Develop high-performance, deterministic embedded software.
• Define interfaces and APIs between components and protocols.
• Improve CI, automated testing and release infrastructure.
• Support software towards accreditation and certification.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
