Job summary

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts, is seeking an Electronic Test Engineer to join its Production Engineering team at the Bishop Cleeve, Cheltenham site. You will set up, validate and optimise advanced electronic test equipment and ensure reliable testing of aerospace systems.

You will troubleshoot PCBAs to component level, identify root causes and support continuous improvement across Production Engineering, Quality and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experienced Electronics Technician or Test Engineer with a passion for electronics and problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience with analogue and/or digital electronic products.

Responsibilities

• Set up, validation and optimisation of advanced electronic test equipment.
• Troubleshoot and debug PCBAs to component level; identify root causes and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering, Quality, Sustainment Engineering, Test Equipment Engineering and external suppliers.
