Job summary

Collins Aerospace operates a Maintenance Repair and Overhaul facility in Marston Green, Birmingham. We are hiring an Electronics Technician for night shifts to disassemble, test and reassemble electronic engine control systems, ensuring conformance to customer and quality specifications while meeting turnaround targets.

Qualifications

• Electronics experience and qualifications (HNC, HND).
• Experience in a high technology electronics engineering environment.
• Attention to detail with a methodical approach.

• Willingness to work varying shift patterns including nights.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, evaluate, assemble and test electronic engine control systems to customer and quality standards.
• Meet turnaround time targets by supporting the team and handling related documentation and conformance tasks.
• Apply quality assurance techniques and maintain team standards.
• Participate in CORE and continuous improvement activities.
• Support training of colleagues and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain operational control processes and planning schedules.
