Job summary

Parker Meggitt in Fareham is seeking a hands-on Process Technician to build, modify, rework and test electronic assemblies for aerospace products. You will work with small tools, perform assembly tasks, conduct basic testing and help ensure products meet standards before release to customers.

You will complete test reports, follow procedures, carry out pass/fail routines, and assist with pre-shipment finishing.

Qualifications

• Electronic manufacturing background
• Experience in PCB rework and soldering (surface mount)
• Good with small tooling
• Able to work with documentation
• Willing to flag issues
• General mechanical and electrical assembly

Responsibilities

• Operate processes and to build and test sub-assemblies in accordance with procedures and instructions
• Carry out basic rework and modifications in accordance with relevant instructions
• Complete test reports and other relevant documentation
• Conduct basic pass / fail test routines
• Carry out finishing operations prior to shipment to customer
• Maintain input to business information systems as appropriate
