Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is seeking an Assembler for a growing aerospace manufacturing team in Havant, Hampshire. You will work on advanced electronic & electromechanical assemblies in a clean, modern production environment.

The role offers a daytime Mon-Fri schedule, on-site parking, and a temp opportunity with an established manufacturer. Candidates should have PCB assembly and soldering experience and be able to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Assembly, PCB assembly, cable assembly or electromechanical assembly.
• Strong Through-Hole & SMT soldering experience.
• Experience building wiring looms & cable harnesses.
• Ability to read engineering drawings & wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assembling conventional PCBs using Through-Hole & SMT techniques
• Carrying out high-quality hand soldering to IPC standards
• Building cable assemblies, wiring looms & harnesses
• Completing electromechanical assemblies
• Inspecting completed work to ensure exceptional quality standards
• Carrying out PCB rework, repairs & engineering modifications
• Reading engineering drawings, schematics & wiring diagrams
• Occasionally travelling to a nearby site to support prototype projects
