Job summary

Actio Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Technician in Ashby-de-la-Zouch to join a growing electronics manufacturing team. The role focuses on precise wiring, soldering, and box build assembly for complex electrical systems to demanding quality standards.

You will work from engineering drawings and wiring schematics, reading diagrams, and wiring cables with attention to detail in a high-specification manufacturing setting. This is a permanent, on-site position with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Wirer or Wiring Technician.
• Strong background in fine wiring and soldering.
• Experience with box build assembly.
• Experience in high-specification manufacturing environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Fine soldering and intricate wiring of electrical assemblies.
• Point-to-point wiring and cable assembly.
• Box build assembly and integration.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Looming, crimping, terminating, and routing cables.
• Work to high-quality standards within regulated industries such as aerospace or defence.
• Inspecting and testing completed assemblies.
• Ensure work aligns with customer specifications.
